[問題]版權一問

常看到某些MOD的作者在版權宣告裡會提到\r
"請不要使用在商業用途上"...
請問詳細的定義是什麼呢?
是在商業網站中不能使用,或是不能將其修改或直接拿來作商業行為(如整理後拿來賣)?
如果是主網站涉及商業,而網站的討論區使用phpbb,那在討論區中使用這些mod是否合乎此類宣告要求?謝謝~

你不可以把 MOD（沒修改或修改過）單一或與其他程式結合後販賣
因為外掛釋出時，是以 GPL（Open Source）的版權釋出，所以你得保持他的 GPL 版權

嗯~GPL這點我知道,主要想問清楚的是另一部份~
也就是利基不是直接受這些程式影響(買賣的是自己的東西,討論區僅是網站附屬品),賣的不是程式,但程式有可能對交易有幫助(如增加人氣)的時候有沒違背原作者所說的"不使用於商業行為"之類的版權宣告?

雖然個人是覺得這類的商業行為和程式間的關係有點距離,應該不影響...不過還是想問清楚,畢竟這很敏感...@@"

可能講的有點複雜,還是謝謝各位的回答...

很多公司也是使用 phpBB 作為客服之類的用途
站長本身從事什麼行業，和如何使用這個程式並不在版權的限制內\r
phpBB 的版權只是保護自己開發的程式不會被他人拿來販賣
但是圖片的版權就跟程式不一樣\r
圖片的版權則是，你不能在未取得取可前，便使用 phpBB 的圖片在任何商品或網站上面（使用在 phpBB 討論區上當然是可以的）
