Hi all,

My Chinese is not very good, so I will ask you this in English. I am the webmaster of http://www.hopintung.com. And i run a phpbb 2.08 forum on http://www.hopintung.com/forum
The site has been up for a few days aswell as the forum. There's alot of things i need to update (like the template). But the problem is. I don't know how to adjust the forum so users can make Chinese usernames and Chinese topics, like this forum. It is possible to write Chinese messages, but as you know this website is about a Chinese person with many fans from Asia I will need this ability. Could someone please help me?

Muti-Lang Maybe can fic your problem, otherwies you can install chinese lang pack.

這位置已上為了一少數天aswell 如這討論會. 那處alot 之物件我必需到更新(喜歡這模板). 但這問題是. 我不明瞭在何處調整這論壇才能讓使用者能造成中文usernames 和中文主題, 喜歡這討論會. 它是可能的到寫中文訊息, 但如你知道這網站是關於一中文個人以許多fans 由亞洲我將必需這能力. 能夠有些人請求助我?

其實我是用翻譯軟體一個單字一個單字去翻的.........(逃)!!

HC Designs, do you mean you want to disable users to make chinese usernames and topics? well, you can ask it at phpBB offical site: http://www.phpbb.com/ . They support english.

I have installed the Chinese language pack. But the default language is English, because it's an international board. But I do not want to disable Chinese usernames and topics. I want that to be possible. You can try it at http://www.hopintung.com/forum. you'll see it's not possible to create Chinese usernames and topics. Instead the php code converts the "&" sign to & so the Chinese character won't be displayed (instead, there will be a serie of unwanted characters). I find this sort of disturbing because on the other hand it IS possible to write the actual message in Chinese.

HC Designs, i know your problems now. i tried to post a chinese topic in your forum just now. In the topic: #&28204;#*5430; <-- Do you mean this one. I didn't try to create an chinese account yet. But in the passage, it can show chinese normally. well, i don't know how to fix too.
